Beauty of the Right Kind of Artwork
All through my years of experience as a Professional Interior Decorator and no matter my Client's budget, I always sort for the right kind of artwork to match the Interior I am designing. The ability to choose the right size, right colour, right theme to give the perfect emotion that suits an interior space is important. The emotion that a piece of artwork radiates is important or you don't bother fixing one on the wall at all. There is a story behind every piece of art. Identify it first before you use it.
I personally believe no interior is perfect without the right kind of wall fixes. You know I personally generalise the meaning of Artwork.
Artwork could be something painted or designed, either by hand or by any piece of technology necessary. Helps beautify the walls, made up of flat surface, can be hung and that's designed creativity or should I say designed with creative thinking. Art has broadened. It cannot be limited to something made out of canvases or wood or made out of pencil or oil paints and brush anymore. Just like life keeps evolving, art has evolved also.

So not to digress too much, the ability to know what nature of art piece to use and the right kind of impression you want to create is very important. To me as a decorator, all art forms are priceless, very priceless. It could be the most affordable piece of creative art you find that would have the right type of message for a very luxurious Interior. Thus, that makes it priceless.
During one of my leisure times, I was seeing a movie then I noticed a board sized wall picture frame of a segment to the face of an elephant and then that of a Rhino. It was used to decorate a wall. These frames were placed side by side on the wall. Pictures of the animals were taken in their natural state/form. Pictures were capture moment when the animals were standing upright, eyes opened and head straight to give the perfect outlook. The picture frames were paired side by side, made to sit pretty on a royal blue wall and I was dazzled. The natural state of those animal was in it's grey state so the colour contracts to the wall was perfect. You needed to have seen how wonderful and unique it came out. It looked amazingly gorgeous. That was somebody's creative idea to what a piece of art should be. My ideas to these things has deepened. I tell you, being a designer is all about creatively thinking outside the box. There are no rules or regulations. It's all about doing something that is pleasing to the eyes, acceptable, reasonable, sensible, passionate and that can be appreciated. To me a Rhino and an Elephant signifies power and wealth. That's why people steal some essential parts of their body. And without those parts, these animals are deemed powerless, smiles.

We Decorators have realised that you don't leave a wall vacant when completing an Interior decoration. You must plan the wall as you are planning for the other things. Every piece of decoration you use in a house must have a connection. Walls are important parts to an Interior and people notice your wall first before sitting down to appreciate your pieces of furniture plus every other thing inside.
