Experiences that made me pend blogging for so long

Making money is serious business I wouldn't lie. Getting busy with real life work and businesses was what made me stop blogging. I have never been faced with that much responsibility before in my life. And you know my type of business involves a lot of commitments. I think psychologically I was overwhelmed with so many things happening together for me at the same time. I got my first office where we also sell decorating items in 2016 and later we started making and selling furniture which was more responsibility and which also required more attention. You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to control staffs. I have never worked in a formal environment so my company was my first and also it was a lot of learning and unlearning phase for me. I was learning and leading at the same time. The greatest pain was when my mum passed on in glory, October 17, 2016. I doubt if I can ever fully recover from that shock. she was only forty nine year old. Heaven's gain they say. Heaven gained an angel.

Company responsibilities are not even funny, smiles. There is always need for improvements and serious need for expansion. Fulfilling of Customers needs and requests, restocking of purchased goods and stocking of newer designs. Need to advertise and make the company more noticeable etc. You know it was after I owned an office space that I realized we business owners indeed pays tax to all the 3 arms of the Nigerian government, Federal, State and Local Government. All the ones I paid to the state, there was no record. They all collect and steal so I stopped paying.

Anyway, I was trying to get my life in form. I didn't date for the whole of 2016 when I started the sales and retail business and for over half of 2017 because those were trying times that required a lot of sacrifices from me, a lot of sacrifices. I was putting back almost entirely all I was making financially to help me grow. I also learnt a lot and was I happy?. Those were joyous moments for me.

By June 2017, I started dating again and it was another experience for another write up. I was to get traditionally Introduced by October, 2017 but it was postponed. Then we eventually had a low key introduction December, 2017. Long story short, I got married May, 2018. I became a mother by August, 2018. Motherhood is a lot of sacrifice, smiles. I had to concentrate more on my family, most especially my daughter. You know I and my partner are both new parents with no mother. So I had to woman up for the sake of my daughter.

2019, Covid happened and every one in my Family including the my 9 month old daughter had Covid. I was so down and I had to still take care of my daughter by myself. We both isolated and thank God that horrible phase is over. I complete lost my voice but God kept us.

2019 all through 2021 has been blessed year for me. I have been productively busy to the glory of the lord. I kept on scaling newer heights and gaining more beautiful experiences. But hey, here I am again with a lot more to share. You are welcome.

SIX REASONS WHY WALLPAPER IS PREFERRED TO PAINTING

MY CUTE LITTLE FLOWER VASES

So, I mostly pass by this particular building along Salvation road at Opebi in Ikeja. Most times I am always rushing to catch up with one meeting or one appointment or another. I noticed this entire building unlike others is occupied by Interior decorating product dealer or should I say sellers. There is this store at the ground floor of the building I kept seeing this two wonderful white and black colour flower vases (pair) with a single stick of an artificial fushial pink rose flower on each displaying from the show-window of this particular shop. I kept admiring it from afar. One larger size and the other smaller piece. So yesterday I decided to visit the store. I walked a very very long distance from where I was all because I wanted to see these vases. My dears they were even more beautiful seeing them closely. I met with the owner of the store, she is a professional interior decorator just like myself. She is an adorable senior friend. I priced the vases and I wondered why...
