How my work experiences has help shape me into a better Interior Decorating Professional

Hi, my name is Olutola Olukemi and I'm an Interior Decorator and Designer. About seven years ago, I began using my talents and skills to add beauty to people's life and I have been loving it ever since. I have also made few mistakes of my own in this profession that I have learnt from and has help me become a better professional in order to serve my clients better. I would love to share with you my experiences on my journey to a better me. And it would be a pleasure to have you on this blog journey. Also, I will also be dropping a lot of tips, ideas and lessons to help you with your personal interior decorating and designs ventures.  

Few things to know about me are

1) I am just not a grammarian, smiles. I will be using simple words on this blog. i might make few grammatical errors here and there. kindly overlook them with love.

2) I promise to drop at least a blog post a day. No matter how busy I might get, I will try my best to keep up with the blog. I will put efforts into it.

3) I promise to be as honest as can be. I want this blog to be something any average professional or aspiring professional could relate with or to.

4) I live, breath, love and enjoy being an interior decorator and designer for the rest of my capable life. I know I haven't started unleashing my creative talents to the benefits of the good people of this world that God will send my way. it gives me utmost joy and fulfillment plus gladness of heart when I have these thoughts. I am happy each day of my life knowing that God gave me the talent to be this kind of professional in this field that choose me and vice versa.

5) I am happy to learn. I am open to learning. I look forward to more learning opportunities in life

6) My greatest fulfillment in life has been putting smiles on peoples faces via the works of my hands. I love seeing home that I designed years later still looking amazingly fabulous years later. I am completely fulfilled that God has given me the gift to create contemporary home no matter the Client's budget. I am happy that the homes I help create stays and last longer than whatever money I might have made for my services. 

8) I am happy that one way or the other, I am part of people's success stories not other wise. i thank God that I help create moments of Joy and Gladness.

9) I also love to become a Real Estate Professional. I love to sell very affordable houses that has been completely built and designed. Just move in with your page of cloths. There will even be options to shop for groceries if you want. But that's still a work in progress.




10) I love making creative home designs myself. its a process we call, "DIY"s. Something unique and top notch made with a lot of really affordable and recycled materials but that would give a really sophisticated result / outlook eventually.

Which of the colours he or she feel safe in. So when choosing colour for his or her room use a combination of one or two of her favourite colour and shades.

MY CUTE LITTLE FLOWER VASES

So, I mostly pass by this particular building along Salvation road at Opebi in Ikeja. Most times I am always rushing to catch up with one meeting or one appointment or another. I noticed this entire building unlike others is occupied by Interior decorating product dealer or should I say sellers. There is this store at the ground floor of the building I kept seeing this two wonderful white and black colour flower vases (pair) with a single stick of an artificial fushial pink rose flower on each displaying from the show-window of this particular shop. I kept admiring it from afar. One larger size and the other smaller piece. So yesterday I decided to visit the store. I walked a very very long distance from where I was all because I wanted to see these vases. My dears they were even more beautiful seeing them closely. I met with the owner of the store, she is a professional interior decorator just like myself. She is an adorable senior friend. I priced the vases and I wondered why...
