7 girls room colours aside from pink

In the world of interior design, colours play a pivotal role in shaping the atmosphere and personality of a space. When it comes to designing a girls' room, the conventional choice of pink might seem like the default option. However, there exists a vast spectrum of captivating and inspiring colours that can infuse charm and individuality into a room. Let's explore seven unique room colour options for girls, steering clear of the traditional pink:

1. Orange Burst:

Orange is a vibrant and energetic colour that radiates positivism and enthusiasm. Incorporating shades of orange, such as tangerine or coral, into a girls' room can create a lively and invigorating ambiance. Pairing orange with neutral tones or even a soft lilac can help balance the vibrancy while maintaining a fresh and youthful look.

2. Blissful Blue:

Blue is a versatile colour that ranges from serene pastel shades to deep navy hues. Lighter blues can evoke a sense of calm and tranquility, perfect for creating a peaceful retreat. Meanwhile, deeper blues can lend a touch of sophistication and maturity to the room. Accents of yellow or green can complement the blue theme, creating a refreshing contrast.

3. Gorgeous Green:

Green is often associated with nature and growth, making it an excellent choice for a girls' room. From pale mint to rich emerald, green shades can evoke a sense of harmony and serenity. Consider pairing green with soft lilac accents to create a balanced and calming environment.

4. Pops of Purple:

Purple is a regal and luxurious colour that can add a sense of drama and elegance to a room. Lilac, a softer shade of purple, can create a delicate and dreamy atmosphere. When combined with shades of yellow and green, purple can help create a visually appealing and harmonious colour palette.

5. Sunshine Yellow:

Yellow is synonymous with joy and positivity, making it an ideal colour for infusing vibrancy into a girls' room. A sunny yellow backdrop can be enhanced with touches of blue and green, creating a playful and cheerful environment that stimulates creativity.

6. Coral Charm:

Coral is a delightful fusion of orange and pink, embodying warmth and playfulness. This colour choice can lend a sense of energy and brightness to the room. Combining coral with shades of blue and green can result in a balanced and captivating look.

7. Lively Lilac:

Lilac is a soft and soothing colour that can bring a sense of serenity to a girls' room. It can serve as a beautiful backdrop for other colours like green, blue, or even pops of orange. This gentle hue can create an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort.

In Conclusion- Incorporating these colours into a girls' room design opens up a world of creative possibilities. By blending different hues and experimenting with combinations, you can tailor the room to match the unique personality and preferences of the individual. Whether it's the invigorating vibrancy of orange, the tranquil allure of blue and green, or the charming elegance of lilac and coral, each colour choice has the power to transform a girls' room into a space that resonates with style and character.

MY CUTE LITTLE FLOWER VASES

So, I mostly pass by this particular building along Salvation road at Opebi in Ikeja. Most times I am always rushing to catch up with one meeting or one appointment or another. I noticed this entire building unlike others is occupied by Interior decorating product dealer or should I say sellers. There is this store at the ground floor of the building I kept seeing this two wonderful white and black colour flower vases (pair) with a single stick of an artificial fushial pink rose flower on each displaying from the show-window of this particular shop. I kept admiring it from afar. One larger size and the other smaller piece. So yesterday I decided to visit the store. I walked a very very long distance from where I was all because I wanted to see these vases. My dears they were even more beautiful seeing them closely. I met with the owner of the store, she is a professional interior decorator just like myself. She is an adorable senior friend. I priced the vases and I wondered why...

IT'S A HAPPY DAY

Why are you a Professional when you can't help Client cut cost or manage cost or work around their budget line. There is no client situation I can't manage.  Middle of last month I got a new add on my blackberry messenger. The man in question told me he was interested in my services, due to increase in his rent, he is ready to move into his own site. But there was a problem, he needed to move in urgently and he was working on a strict budget. He was moving into the Boy's Quarters for now so no over spending. We scheduled the painting of his Boy's Quarters for the beginning of this month, May,2015. The BQ wall by the way isn't screened and the apartment has been built for quite sometimes now. Quite sometime, a period of three good years.
